-The way we will talk is through Skype. It will be easy because there is a webcam on the Mac. With the program Skype, we will talk with webcams and there will be a live feed between us. (Like a video conference). First, you will need to make an account with Skype. After you do that you`ll be ready to talk to me. I never used the program, but I don`t think it would be hard to use. And also I will recieve more information later this week about how we will talk. I send that when I recieve it. Or you`ll get it from the mission office. We`ll know soon enough.
It sounds like everyone is getting ready for Christmas. I`ll be burning up here and you`ll all be nice and comfortable. But oh well.

Me and my Companion contacted an old man, 76. He was dressed in a suit and tie. His face was gaunt and he walked slowly. When we contacted him he said in his fading voice, "I`m busy...another day". I was thinking how sad was that. He was a slave to his religion that has never done anything for him. He was a slave to saying the same frase as almost every other person here says. I said to my companion, "Sad Zombie". And thats the thing, he was a zombie. The thing is that too, is that he looked like a Zombie. Only he was living and not the living dead. But who knows he could have been the living dead?

We found an awesome Family. A humble family that was receptive to the spirit. It was by pure "chance" that we found them. We were looking for another man that lived near there house. We didn`t have that good of directions, but they were exactly the directions of this family. When we got to the door. We clapped and the man sent out his wife, (as does all the "men" here). We said that we wanted to talk to all their Family and while we were waiting for a response of, "we`re catholic or another day". She said to wait a minute. That`s when their whole family, except for 1, listened to us. The lesson went really good. We tlaked about the Book of Mormon. We also included that thier is more that they can learn, Doctrines of Christ (Faith, repentance, Baptism, gift of the Holy Ghost, and to preseverar hasta el fin). They are going to read, and when they do they will feel that this is all true. All that we teach, by the Spirit, is true. That Familys will be blessed for their faith.

Changes are this Wednesday. I don`t know if my companion is going to leave or stay. I hope that we have another change together. We`ll be having the baptism of two families this next change. Also others too.
The thing is that we need to continually work our hardest. We can`t stop, we will not stop. I have never been so happy nor so sad in all my life. This is the perfect place for me to become all I can be.
Thank you for all your prayers. And thank you for that you have taught me. LOVE ALL OF YOU :)

Wow... This is the first thanksgiving I´m going to miss. It`s so crazy that I have been gone for 7 months. And to think, we can talk with each other in about a month (Through Skype). Time goes by so fast. It seems like everyone is enjoying life. I am too. I get to talk in a different language in a foreign land about the purpose of life. I smile everyday. Some times because of rediculousness of people or situations here.
So far... here during my mission for the Lord. I`ve learned who I want to be and what I want to do. But I don`t think of who I am right now. That isn`t important right now. Because this work and the people here, in this moment, are in need of their God. And as for the others, they are not ready or never will be. We are now sifting through the tiers faster to find the wheat. We found a way to better use our time with people. If certain people do not want to hear, we will not force them. They have the hardest hearts of all. Some poeple will never change. But there are people who have been waiting for this all their lives to be saved. To actually have God in their lives and not only with their words, honor God.

We had Zone Conference this week and Stake Conference. One thing that I really liked that was said by Elder Foster during Stake Conference was this. To the Stake President, " Are you selling your kids?". He reponed with a chuckle, "No". "How much for the little one?". The president replied, "I don`t want to sell my kids". "Yes, you don`t want to sell your kids. But guess what? Satan wants to buy them. He is continually seeking to destroy your kids". He then said to the congregation, " We need to teach our kids what is right. We need to teach them so that they understand. They need to be strong in their testimonies so they cannot be sold." -We need to be continually in communicaion with our kids. I was thinking of this with Spencer and Bergan. They will soon be having kids before they know it. I was also thinking of Hank and Kim and the rest of our family. We can`t be on the side lines. We need to be in the "Game". I have really learned alot of what I am going to teach my children when I have them. I have a journal of thing I will do. -This is so amazing. To be here at this time. I would have never been able to have learned what I am learning, without serving a mission.

Well, It was raining pretty hard this morning. And My feet are soaked but I don`t mind. It will dry. I just don`t let little things bother me. I`m a different person now. I don`t think you´ll recognize me. I hardly recognize myself. Sometimes I think, "I`m just a kid" But I`m not. It`s hard to think about that I`m 21 years old. I don`t feel that old. I actually feel younger than I did when I was 19. Weird, no?

I now have more of a view of what I am going to do after my mission. For example, work, hobbies, activities and stuff like that. I hardly ever think about it. I think about it about every month or some. There isn`t much time to think of stuff like that. But I just write it in my journal and forget it. I`ll read it later, when I need to.

Times up. I need to go, but enjoy Thanksgiving (if it is this week). I Love all of you.

- Until next week (:

There was a man, this past saturday, who we were going to teach. But he was quite drunk. He had two liters of wine and he was drunking it while we were talking to him. We were saying to him that if he wanted us to visit him, then he needs to be sober. That`s when he said that he really liked that we were trying to help him. ( We were standing in front of his house. He was on my right side. and Elder Tilleman was on my left. And the was a wall in front of us) Then he said "Thanks" and then tried to kiss my cheek or neck. I pushed him away and he started laughing. And he said "Thank you for trying to help me. Then he tried to kiss my sleeve or arm or shoulder, but he didn`t. I said, in english, "what the crap?" and pushed him away. My companion, couldn`t stop laughing during all this. Yea... I don`t think we`ll be going back.
There is a family of 3 that we are teaching. The Father drinks but he wants to quit. Me and my campanion taught about the Restoration. We taught them twice because the first time the Mother wasn`t there. They listened quite well and wanted to learn how our message would help them. That`s when we promised that if he read and prayed everyday, sincerly, he would stop drinking. The are going to attend Church this next Sunday.
We had a lesson with a man by the name of Carlos Lopez. He is really shy and doesn`t like the Church, because it asks him to do something, unlike the catholic church. I don`t know what will happen with him. Oh, and on that note he told us, "I like the catholic church because they don`t ask anything of me". What an evil thing. If we all believed that... were would we be?
I read something interesting during companion study about the Book of Mormon and our Church. We cannot recieve complete knowledge that Jesus is the Christ, without knowing and reading the Book of Mormon. A person cannot testify of the truthfulness without knowing the Book of Mormon is another testiment of Christ. The only way to to read is and pray specifically, "Is the book in my hands, The Book of Mormon, true?" Then and only then we WILL KNOW that JESUS IS THE CHRIST. And can bare pure testimony of Him.
Well it`s getting hotter here. Especially in December and January. (It gets really hot during that time). -Almost time for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Bye Love all you!

Wow, there a lot has passed by this month. I can´t believe that tomorrow is the first of November. Time is going by really fast. It´s crazy that this is my first halloween without candy. It´s weird to think about what all of you are doing right now. I hardly have time to think about anything else other then the work right now. I wouldn´t have it anyother way though. It would be hard to be thinking of home all the time. I need to be focused here. I hardly have time because me and Elder Tilleman are working hard. With almost 100 % exactness. It is paying off. We are finding people who have worth and sadly, others, who don´t. My view of the world is different. The same with ideals of men and they why satan works with others. I was reading in 2 Nephi: 26-29 (profecía of the last days). It is exactly have it is here in Paraguay. The Book of Mormon and never been so true to me then it is now. I can literally see satan working on these people. I am seeing them walking off a cliff and they don´t believe me that there is a cliff. They think they know what they need to know, but they are so blinded by satan, they literally take light for dark. Never before in my life have I seen this. It´s exactly what is in the Book of Mormon. It´s seems like a journal entry of someone living in this day and age.
I love the Book of Mormon. It is now the most precious thing I can ever hope for, among other things. My love in reading it grows everyday. I wish I had this desire before I came here, but I can´t do anytrhing about that now. I know that I will continually be reading for the rest of my life. It is amazing.
That´s really good to hear about Dad´s surgery went well. I needed to hear that. I knew/know that everything would be/ is fine. I didn´t worry, because we had the promise of the Lord.
I like speaking in Spanish everyday. It is now easier to speak in Spanish than English. Elder Tilleman is helping me with grammer everyday. And we both read the Book of Mormon out loud to practice pronunciación. I now speak with rolled r´s (because my companion was Mexican-without the weird accent) and my companion has a hard time with trying to do that to. He took 4 years of spanish in school. So, he knows almost all the grammer.
Well thanks for the invitacion of Spencer and Bergan. I would like to have more photos from home too. When you sent a package for Christmas.
-Happy Halloween Eli and Layla and the rest of you! Love you!
