First of all. I will be writing another letter Monday with when exactly we will be talking with skype. (If I were there, I would find a way to put skype on Dads new flat screen. ...Maybe with Spencers Xbox and kenect. (If you still have it) I am pretty sure it has Skype on it. So that it would be better to hear and see each other. But the computer is just fine.) Also, the time difference is 4 hours. Youre 4 hour behind Paraguays time. I will be calling the 24th of December. I will call in the morning at 10:00 am which is 2:00 pm here in Paraguay. And I will be calling the same one I called before. But I also will open my email (just in case we have problems.)
Well... I am in probably my last area in Paraguay. It is called Caaguazu. It is an awesome area. It is a place that has a lot of countyside. The people are very poor and alot are going to know the restored gospel. It is a wonderful place full of potencial. And I am here as part of the plan that President Agazzani has for Coronel Oviedo and Caaguazu .He wants a stake here. It has never been good enough to become a stake. And he wants it to be a stake before the end of Febrero.
I am now with my 15th companion in the mission. His name is Elder Jason Patterson, he is from Utah. We are going to work hard here. He is the District leader here for Caaguazu. There are 4 branches and 8 missionaries here. I am quite happy to be here, it has been an answer to a prayer.
I am writing a lot in my study Journal. I have a big notebook and I love it. I now love writing. It is becoming a joy. I have been good in not writing about things that do not have to do with the work here. I will have plenty of time afterwards to write.
I cannot believe how fast the time is going by. I still have a lot of work to do. I am really happy with what God expects of me right now. I will raise to the ocasion and help all I can.
I have not recived my package. I am sure that it will arrive next year, in January. But I am totally fine with that. I would not even mind if you sent a package. I just want to help people, that is all I want now. But I am always grateful for a package. Thank you Mom.
I am really glad to here about thye progress that Dad is making. I still have not seen photos "hint, hint". Also I need to see the vehicle that Kari bought.
The time is about up. But I hope you all know that I loove all of you. And wouñd love to see more photo "more hints"

Jolene´s Birthday!!! I was really happy because the 8th we had the best baptism of my mission. We were working hard with an investigator named Gladys. When we first arrived here, there was only one progressing investigator left by the sister missionaries in our area. And after working with her and her family, she finally got baptized. She was prepared by God´s hand. The baptism was actullay simple. Even though we had some problems, for example we were going to have a member buy cake but he for got. So... we had to find someone to cook it last minute. (btw it was awesome). We had investigators and less active members there. The spirit was so strong that the investigators were crying. Gladys bore her testimony and some others did too. I then got up and bore my testimony. I had the thought pop into my head to talk about my experience when I was baptized. But before I could finish the first sentence, I began to cry. The spirit was just so sweet as I bore my experience and testimony. I felt like the very angels of God were gathering all around us and just for a moment we were being borne up and comforted from the world. It actually reminds me when an angel that appeared unto Christ to bring comfort when He Atoned for all mankind. It truly was a great experience. And that is not all...
Sunday She was comfirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I had the privilage giving her the confirmation. The words just came into my mind and I felt the truth. By way of the same sweet peaceful feeling of the Spirit of God. And when the blessing was done with and she had recieved the gift of the Holy Ghost. She stood up and turned around to thank all the participated with tears in her eyes.
I know that God will bless her and her family. And that she will help her family come unto Christ and follow her example. I am truly happy.
Well, Today was kind not very fun. We had to travel again to Asunción (6 hour bus ride), so that my companion could sign some immigration papers. We are actually still in Asunción right now. We are waiting for our bus that is going to leave in 30 mins.
I love you all. I hope all is well. I will tell you about changes next week. (yea it´s changes again)

Hello my Family,
I would like to say that I am content right now. It´s just good to be here. I don`t even of Paraguay as a strange place. It is a home to me. It is normal and all that is around me seems normal. A huge difference from when I first got here. An when I did, I was actually thinking, How am I going to adapt myself here in this strange country?
How am I going to be able to speak the language? Well, only with Gods help I was able to do so.... That is actually how I learned to trust in God more. I now see how Heavenly Father was actually helping me with all the things I wanted to make better, change, and put away. I now understand the nature of God. I love how He has helped me and all of you. Better yet I love how I can see how He helps his children.
"...For those who wait upon the Lord shall not be ashamed." I never could have known these things if I was not here. I would have never
gotten to love the scriptures as much as I do now. -
Before the mission I hardly ever read them. I knew the scriptures ( the stories and stuff) but not enough to be able to explain them. I didn´t know how to study of search inside them. I only read them because I liked reading them. Now it is different, I have a purpose to what I am studying. I search the things that I need and what others need. I think that it would be good if all of us do that. It would be wonderful if we were always looking for answers in the scriptures as members. "For I know that the Lord never gives commandments unto the children of men, save He shall prepare the way". The scriptures have the answers to all that we must do.
I am doing great. I love you all and thank you Mom for getting the card for me.
Your always in my prayers.

I just thought I would send the email to you first, Kari.
I love this part of the mission. I recieved so much experience and love for the work. I understand the people and I am able to communicate with them. It is such a privilege to be here in this time. I am happy to serve here. I will use the rest of my time becoming the best I can become.
I heard a really cool talk from President Eyring when he was visiting BYU. He talked about how his father always fulfilled his duty. His father, near the end of his life, had a bone cancer that made it hard to do anything. He felt such a great pain that, regardless of what he was doing... sitting, standing, or kneeling. The father of President Eyring also was very active in the church. He always fulfilled his callings and assignments. Even if he had to bare such great of pain to complete it.
His ward had the assigned to take care of an farm. And He was assigned to weed a couple rows of the onions. I inmagine that the task would be for those that could bare the heat of the sun and quite a bit of labor. The members were astonished at the determination as this same afflicted man was working to fulfill his duty. The pain became so great that he started crawling. With much amazement, he completed the task. And not only did he show that he would go and do what what commanded of him, he even was happy to do it. One of the members said, as he finished, that the weeds he pulled had been sprayed by a chemical and would have died in a couple days anyways. Now, he was not sure if that was true or not but, instead of becoming angry with his sacrifice that was "wasted". He just thought it was the funniest thing. He died soon after. He was a man who loved God and always served others and enjoyed life................. I think we can all learn a lesson from this and it really does apply with us.
I hope all is well. I know that sometimes we may not want to do are duty, but what else can make us so happy? I for one, know that there is nothing in this world or out of it that can give us true joy.
"Do your duty your best and the Lord will do the rest"
"Faith means to trust in God more then one´s self"

The flower is a fruit called m´burucuyá and when you eat it (the fruit) it makes you sleepy.
Hello,
I just barely recieved the "trunky papers", or rather the 6 months left mark. I am surprised that the time is passing so fast.
My companion also recieved his papers. He has the same time as I do.
Yesterday I gave a talk on the influence of the Holy Ghost in our daily lives. It went kinda well. I certainly have learned a lot of the how much I now rely on the spirit. I would be I just didn´t have time to prepare it really good. But I felt the spirit and some people cried, and that is what counts, right?
I recieved your email on time Mom. Thank you for sending one. Oh... and last week I was in Asunción and I didn´t
have a lot of time to write. Everything went well there.
I literally cannot think of other things now. I just have my mind set in the work. Even if I wanted to right a poem or a song, or whatever... I just would´t recieve ideas. I would go blank. It is actually really weird but I am truly grateful.
OTHERS THINGS THAT HAS HAPPENED...
I learn the rubix cube
I am translating my patriarchal blessing into spanish.
I understand a lot of portugues
I understand a quite a bit of italian
I still loving the mission. It is still shaping me and molding me into a true disciple of Christ
I love you all. I hope this week is especially great and full of awesomeness.
p.s. I need my debit card for emergencies. It would be really good to have with me. Plus I need to buy some things, for example a flashdrive to preserve my photos. I don´t want to lose my photos.

First things first... How is Dad? I was kinda surprised that I didn´t recieve a letter from Mom this week, but that´s okay. That just means that I get a long letter next week right? Oh, Oh will be recieving a package next week too. And also changes are coming up again on the 31th of October.
And speaking of Halloween, What are you all going to do? I would hope you take pictures and send them. That would be great. Especially of my niece and nephew. I will try to send some more pictures next week.
Mom, I need you to send me my debit card. If it has already expired, can you please get me a new one. (you can just email the pin number to me.) Thank you, Mom!
Well, this past Saturday Elder Bednar came to our mission. It was really awesome. I learned a lot about how I personally need to gain my our revelation. Also the people I am teaching, They too need to find their own revelation to be able to have true conversion and testimony. He also talked of how we (in the church) are treating people like objects and not free agents. We play the game of, ´Guess what is in my head´. I now understand that the commitments the the investigators are the only way they can ´find the truth for themselves. We cannot always give the answers to them because they will become dependent on us and will become as objects and not agents. They must choose to come unto Christ.
One of the things that caught me off guard was that Elder Bednar said he can´t give us the solutions to the problems that we have in the mission. But rather we need to find revelation for ourselves so that we may be free agents.
I will be recieving my trunky papers soon. maybe next week. And it will be officially 6 months until I am at home. But I am not trunky right now. On the contrary, I never had such a strong desire to do the work as I have right now. I am kinda sad that today is Monday because we don´t have a lot of time to workm but oh well. It´s all good in the hood.
Thank you Spencer for your letters and you too Kari and Jackie and Jolene and Mom and Uncle Noel and all of the rest of you guys. => If I haven´t written a response it is because I am just so busy I really do not have the time, especially recently. If I could I would. (Also I don´t have extra money to send hand written letters.)
I LOVE YOU ALL AND I HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR WEEK ( ;

I remember a mormon message that said "I hope you know I had a hard time". It is from a talk from Elder Cook. I remember how he was saying that every person person has problems, difficulties, afflictions, etc. I think of the people that go through life feeling that they are being dragged in life instead of walking it. I also think of those who have these feelings and do not know how to be healed from them. I then remember what Elder Bednar said in his talk. Something along the lines of "There is no physical pain, no anguish of soul, no suffering of spirit, no infirmity or weakness that you or I ever experience during our mortal journey that the Savior did not experience first." I know That whatever is passing in our lives is for our experinces.
I love you all and hope that you help others know their importance as children of God. The way you can be healed is to help others be healed the Atonement of the perfect Son of God. Our Savior and Redeemer, even Jesus Christ.

I sang in church with my companion Elder Sevy. We sang Loor al Profeta (Praise to the Man). We did pretty good for the duet. I got a little nervious and sang a little higher then I should have. And my companion had to sing higher too. But in the end it went well.
MISSION BLOG:
And there we were... in a state of hunger and bewilderment, when we came across the Prophetic Spy. As we saw him talk in to his highly advanced one-way radio with antenna and everything. He boldly anounced our presence to his radio and we knew instantly that we were from the U.S. With amazement, we knew we needed to communicate with him. We approached him with ease, because spies are unpredictable. He then declared with audacity that he was a prophet and that he was also commisioned by the King (intel tells us that that is a code name) to be a spy for Paraguay. I will tell more information when we have more details.
Good news we have found the Yeza Family. And the bad news is that they are still in enemy territory. We are making plans for the rescue from the land of the hostile. As of five days ago they were found in Zone 11. We are going to need to bring in backup if we are get these people bring them back safely home.
(we found the this family and the man cried when he saw us. He thought of a scripture that was about "when you recieve my disciples you recieve me" something like that. And after teaching the Restoration, I asked the son how he was feeling. He said that he felt the presence of God. We All felt the spirit really strongly and I know that God what this man to be happy with his family forever. Let´s do this thing!)
Love all of you Bye (:

I feel the darkness all around me. It seeks for the blinding light that live in the Spirit Warriors of God. I feel the damp creepy coldness of its vile breath. It is looking for me and it will never, no, not ever quit to have me. And ever so slightly, it makes its ways in my paths. It creeps upon me as like unto a sly spider decieving his prey to step in his entangling trap. Patiently... ever so patiently, waiting for me to touch the brim of the web. But I know better not to play around the cobwebs of deception. I keep myself away from the things that steal the light from me. I stay away from the black holes of sin.
For I walk in lighted pathways and in His holy places. I walk uprighty before my Maker and with my eyes looking forward. I am traveling toward my Creator with determination and hope in my soul. I am on the path that leads me to the place which is the purest. I am on the path where Christ set before men when he said, Come Follow me. As I take this journey step by step, I do not dwell too much on what has past and done, rather I am looking up ahead for the lonely travelers who once followed the Son. I seek out the weary peddler who feels like he cannot go on. And give him the joy once again of the only Begotten One. As I make this jouney though, the filthy begger is made clean and pure, becoming more like me and you. The poor in heart become rich in spirit. The deaf begin to hear the truth and the crippled who have be broken down begin to live it though. The blind begin see the miracles that the the once unbelievers work among the children of men.
I am a Warrior of God and a sheep of His fold. I know who He is my shepherd and to him I will give my all. To Him I praise and seek each day, because I know, there is no other way.
Here is my poem for today (:

I was taking a lot of notes during the 5 sessions of conference. I was shocked about the change with those who can now leave on missions. I think it is really good because the young women wouldn´t serve as if it is a ´last resort´(like if there not married, then they will serve.)
I really liked the talks. I got the feeling of "we all need to be better. We need to the best parents, children, priesthood holders. And that we need to do our best in our careers and in education. Always putting forth an our best effort to be worthy at all times, to be examples at all times, to develop the attributes of Christ at all times. To be humble as little children and be submissive, meek, full of love and willing to do ALL that the lord asks us, come what may. We cannot stop and we cannot go back. We have recieved the true through the power of the Holy Ghost and we must always be converted to the Lord. We must go, do and be what the Lord has commanded us to do, go and become. I now see how the Lord has been so loving and so kind to those who keep His commandments. I do not fear that God will not fufill His promises. Because He has already shown that He will fulfill them and has fufilled them. God has been answering your prays and mine. We are His. And I do know that He loves us.
We are truly in the last days. Even though there is so much evil, there is so much good. I plead that all of us to DO THE BEST AND BE OUR BEST. I mean to say, we can live to our potencial and help as much people as we can. If they are not part of our religion, they are still sons and daughters of God. And everyone is invited to partipate of salvation. We choose to be happy, but we must to be willing to do the things that gives us true happiness or we will never obtain it.
I testify that the truth of God is upon the Earth once again. And that this is the true living Church of our Savior and Redeemer even Jesus Christ. He has the power the free us from that which binds us. I now understand the frase. "Israel will shortly be free". I love Gods children and I know that He wants all of them to return home. So let us go and do the work and become who God wants us to be.
I love all of you.

I am now in a new area called Encarnación with Elder Sevy. We are really close to the terminal of Encarnación and our area is surrounded by the Paraná River. Also there are two other missionaries, Elder Soria and Elder Whaley (my 4th companion here in Paraguay). And we are all living in the same small apartment. We, my companion and I, opened an new area and we found out that It would be necessary to have bikes. Only because our area is really big and my comp is a chubby.
So anyways, it is alot different here. I feel that we will do a lot of good. We are in a branch and it still is not a not a stake here. We now know our goals and we have the drive to do so.
It took a long time to get here. It was a 30 minute drive in taxi to get to the terminal from the pension in Monte Lindo. Then a two hour wait in the terminal. And after that... 6 hours in Bus to get to the terminal in Encarnación and then 15 mins more to get to the apartment here.
Sunday I had a talk, so did Elder Soria. He is from Lima, Peru. My companion is from Idaho and Elder Whaley, Colorado. I am the only Utah boy here for miles.
The blocks here are huge. one block here is like two blocks (neighborhood blocks) in Utah. I really like our area. I know that we are going to have a lot of success. I know that God is guiding his servants here and all the world. God is completing with his promises and this is His Work and Glory to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. That is why he sent his son. To free us from sin and death. So that we too may have a fulness of Joy like unto that of God. I know that God sent His son to free us or rather so that we might not be bound by the chains of sin nor of death. He truly loves the world. He is giving every single person the liberty to choose the captivity or liberty. That is why the Bible, the Book of Mormon and and other scritures are so important. So we might know the true and the true (to live it) will indeed set us free.
I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saint because it is the true church of God and is evidence that He truly loves us. I know these things to be true.
I love all of you. (:

This past week there were a couple things that happened this week. We had a Zone council. Where we learned how we are going to plan better to have more success. And we practiced different ways to be better planners.
Also, we had a Talent Show here in Monte Lindo. We had about 14 investigators and about 80 people in the Church. I didn´t have my camera though. And the best thing of all, we got to teach and bare testimony in front of all of them. We will be visiting with this week.
And yesterday we heard the prophet Thomas S Monson and Elder Anderson (he speaks french, who knew... His accent in spanish was frenchy). There was a special broadcast for Uraguay and Paraguay. It was a great and kind of a different experience.
When this change started I wasn´t animated or responsible. Or maybe because I didn´t really know the best way to plan? I think it was that I was having my companion do more than he could. And I wasn´t doing all I should. But I am no longer like that. I can not have someone do what I know is my duty. I am enjoying the work even more. We will have success.
I am so happy for the change I had with my companion Elder Rodriguez. He helped me alot with thing I didn´t even know what I was doing wrong or that which I could do better.
It was good to heard from Jackie and Mom. Also to hear that Dad is doing better. But I know that thereare more in the family and that you all have a little time to write. wink wink.
I love you all.

I don´t know why but when I read your letter, two little words "hold on" struck me as if was meant for me. I feel that this point in the mission is the most critical. This is the time I am showing God who I will be for him, who I will be for my family and to see if I can give all to my Creator.
We had a Family Home Evening yesterday with 3 different famillies. We talked about the Baptism and how it is the only way to free us. True freedom from the true enemy. I shared my experience of when I was baptized. I said that I really didn´t feel different but I did feel good the whole day. And how I came to know the importance of the Sacrament when I was here in Monte Lindo. I told them that I gave the sacrament to someone who, within a week, died. (The mother of one of the families that were in the FHE). I shared that she cried when she recieved the bread and water. She said that she really needed it. She was from South Africa and was living in the US and came here in Paraguay to teach a young man the importance of what he had been living all his life in Utah. No one can say that God does not works miracles and be telling the truth.
Some thoughts... Sometimes we are afraid to do what is right. Sometimes we think that we are not good enough or smart enough or that we are not ready in whichever manner. But the promise of Father in Heaven is that His angels will be roundabout us. And that He will be on our right hand and our left and He will bare us up. "If you know that God is with, do you have reason to fear?". Don´t think that in helping others come unto Christ that you need to do anything alone. He is yours and will guide you and be with you. Don´t even think that He won´t because you know that is not correct.
Well, You all know that I love all you.
I´ll try to send more pictures next week.

I am real glad for what is happening here. I am so happy to be here in the mission. I am trying to get the most of the experience. And more important, I want to help as much people as I possible can. I am also happy to hear that Dad is doing a lot better and that he is healing. It has been a real challenge but I love it. I never knew that it would be so great. Or rather I realized that the mission can be hard or easy. It depends on us and our attitude. I have seen missionaries who was absolutly loving the mission and was easy because they wanted to be here. I also have seen those who think that the mission is a "military service". That it is something that needs to be done and than one can enjoy life agian, when they´re back in their homes. I am so glad that I am here. Nothing is better than being here in this moment. Trusting in the Lord and helping those who need a fulness of joy. How great it is to be here. To help others in that which I was blessed to part of since I came to this Earth. To enjoy the company of a loving father and mother and brothers and sisters. How could I be selfish and not want to give what I have, to others?
This past week we were in Asunción for more than 6 hours, because my companion didn´t have his papers to be in Paraguay. We running across the capital, going from place to place so that we could help my companion. Kind of funny, right? That a Paraguayan would have trouble with visa in his own country. Well, Here´s your sign. But all is peachy right now.
Well I need to go. But I expect a letter from Spencer, Hank, Kari and Jolene to know how things are going. ¿está bien? Is that alright?
Time to go and do the Lords work. "Do the work your best and the Lord will do the rest?

I have been thinking. I would like to hear the conversion of Uncle Noel and Aunt Judy. Also the story of the conversion of Dad. I really would like to know.
Two days ago, I was thinking of the consacration and I was thinking, Am I a consacrated missionary? I was thinking... What do I miss from home? Where are my thoughts during the day? Are my desires in the work or in something else? And as I was reflecting on the these things, I realized that I don´t miss watching TV, Movies, Video games, etc.as I did before. Neither do I have desires to do these things. When I was at home, I was thinking that it would be impossible to not participate in such things. But I now see that it is so much better to not be focused in a screen.
Also, all the other things that were in my life before the mission, I am not pre-occupied. I feel like I am not part of the world. I want others to be the same. To not be part of the world with its filthiness, pride and evil works.
We had a lesson with a Young man named Raul Nuñez. He has known the missionaries for 2 years and hasn´t been baptized. We will help him with what he needs to do and he will be baptized the 15th of September. The lesson was very strong and I know that he felt the spirit. I know that it is hard for him but I realized something. "...I know it hard but please endure. Because with time, the pain will go away but the strength will stay with you."
"he aquí, soy dicípulo de Cristo"
Love all of you!!!

This past week went by fast, really fast. I can `t believe that it´s Monday again.
Thanks for the update on Dad. (:
Wow, Mycal is back! but he changed his jersey number, it´s no longer 23... (Michael Jordan). That is amazing that is now is home. the time really does fly.
Well, time for an account of what happen yesterday...
We found a man in his front yard playing with his kid. We talked with him awhile and he said for us to join him in the soccer field right next to his house. We agreed to do so, clearly. We entered the field and there were about 60 people watching or playing soccer. We then talked of the Restoration. And while we were explaining the priesthood, a drunk man approached us. He started saying that he was ignorant and didn´t know much. And then he started saying, "Is your church over in Zavalas cüe almost 11th of September?(direction of the chapel) To be in your church do I have to pay tithing? Why do you have so much money? We have 1 church and you guys have thousands. Are they made of gold and marble? I know they are made of Gold and Marble!" And so on and so forth. He started yelling in our faces while this man with his kid and 60 others were watching. We trying to just leave but he kept saying, "esperá-na" which means ´wait a little bit´.Every attempt we made he got in front of us and kept yelling. The we were cotacting tied to calm him down but it didn´t work. finally my companion said, "let´s go and talk in your house" and that´s when he left". I guess that the idea that we would visit him scared him off. I have to say that it was pretty cool that to be in a hostel enviroment and be as calm a "sheep in a slaughter house". We don´t not react bad with this man. And I am grateful for that. We just need to go and Baptize the people that saw this act of foolishness.
He talked to the contact again and said that that was normal. And the last thing my companion said to him was that our testimonies we what kept us from harm. (It was like we were Alma and Amulek when the were in prision). I see good thing with this incident. It was awesome.
Well, Time to go save the world. Love you all!

Well well well, I now have a new companion who is from Paraguay. He´s been living in Argentina for 8 year but was born here. He is awesome. He really knows how to work. His name is Elder Rodriguez and he is my 13th companion in the mission, including the MTC (I had 4).
Today, we were passing for the chapel and saw a bunch of kids in the church grounds. We walked inside and talked with them and invited them to play soccer and learn English. We will help them be who God wants them to be. It was a funny experience because that thought we were going to tell them to leave. But we were kind and didn´t say anything that would make them not want to talk to us.
Well, I am loving my time here. I know that we will do alot of good here. We both are here willing to work hard and give our all. I love the mission even more. I know that I have a lot to do here still.
I am amazed at what is happening here. The consecretion is differant than I though before. I understand even more of my purpose as a missionary. I learned of how much I really do love the restored gospel. I now have even more of a desire to do all I can here. I have time to do it and I will accomplish what I was sent to do.
Me alegro. estoy haciendo la obra del Señor. ¡que grandioso es la misión! amo a Dios y Su hijo Jesucristo. y agradezco a todos los yo conozco personalmente.
les quiero demasiado!!!!!!

Wow, Another change here in Monte Lindo. I have learned a lot this past change and I know that this nxet change will be great.
I don´t know what happened but this past week was the most challenging in the mission. I had a local companion for 6 weeks. And it wasn´t easy but it was the most rewarding I have had.
As for stories. The other day we contacted a house. We talked to the couple and I noticed that his hand was not normal. He actually had a hand like a Ninja Turtle o Nightcrawler (off of X-Men). I don´t know if he was born that way or if he was born with acid (like they melted together of something). But we´ll find out when this Thursday.
-A young man in our ward was bite by a bug or something on the bridge of his nose. Yesterday we saw him with his face puffed up. But he´ll be fine
-We talked with a family that one of the daughters (of the age 35) had a hole in her throat and was blinded by varies strokes. And she can talk but it is a challenge and I think it will scare my new companion. (especially, because I might be training. Can you imagine a newbe to see a person like this woman?I think it would scare him a lot. Only because he would not be used to seeing stuff like that.)
Times Up, but I hope you all know that your in my prayers. Love you all!
Oh and Dad ¡Sánate! (be healed) (:

Well, I am really happy that Dad is doing better. And I know that all will be for our good.
Dad... I am focused in the mission. I love it here. I am glad that you said not to be pre-occupied myself with what is happening over there. I actually never felt so much peace here in the mission. Minus the time in the Temple, Conferences (General & Zone) and the MTC. I love you Dad, stay strong for me.
Last week we gave a tour of the church to a crazy man named Bartólome. It was quite an experience because I felt the spirit very powerfully but the man... I don´t think he felt it. He did say somthing very interesting. When I explained the sacrament, he said that we need to imagine that Christ is blessing the bread and water and passing it to his disciples. Wow, I was surprised that I didn´t rhink of that before. That the priesthood holders are in the place of Christ and the congregation are in place of the 12 Apostoles. I knew tthat already but I didn´t give to much thought before hand.
We found a man named Beto, that lived in Boston, Mass. for 10 years (for work). He wanted to know about Joseph Smith. When we taught him, he was saying that all of it made sense. We gave him a Book of Mormon to read and said that he wanted to read it for a long time. I am talking about years, he was wanting to read the book. We´ll see what is going to happen.
We found a couple from Argentina, they were visiting family. We taught a little of the Restoration and gave the Book of Mormon to them. And funny enough, my companion was living in the same city (that they live in) when he was living with his aunt. Within 15 of each other. He said he would leave with the missionaries to visit them.

I don´t think will be checking his email, but I know that you check your email a lot. This week I am senting the family letter to you. could you tell me who I should email now.
It´s been a very interesting week. Not only with what happened with Dad but also my companion and I are being mentioned alot in the mission. President Agazzani said that the assistants and Zone leaders and others have been talking about my companion and I. Good things, of course. But the funny thing is that we probably have the most weaknesses in the mission. But that´s alright, I know what I need to do to be better. I may not keep silent when I need to or I might say something incorrect but at least I´m not ignorant nor very prideful. We are so close to success here. It is in our grasp but something was holding us back. We now know. We were not recognizing the opportunities to teach and help the people in our path. And so that you know we talked with the people in our path but not completely.
Sunday I taught the gospel principles class (the President of the Mission was there). And as soon as I was done teaching the recent converts and Investigadors, I recieved a blessing of peace and comfort, by President Agazzani. I was so that I would be able to focus on the mission. And as soon I recieved the blessing, it was if my soul was full and my mind was no more blind. It just goes to show that there is power in the Priesthood. And now I am more focused then ever and I long to help the people here even more.
But so that you know, I am good. Actually I am really good right now. I know that the ward I am in right now is going to change for the better. We are going to see miracles.
Well, the other day we found a drunk man by the name of Bartholomew. He invited us to his work/home, in a auto-shop. He told us that he wanted to hear the words of God. He then had me randomly open the Book of Mormon that was in hand and the one that was in the hand of my companion. The scriptures that we share we perfect. My companion and I were awestruck. It was evidence that the Book of Mormon is true. I was very please with what happen. The man then said, "those are the words of God!". He then wanted a copy. I don´t know what is going to happen but I hope that it changes this man. If nothing else it strengthened the testimony of my companion and I.
I would like to see the pictures of the accident. And also other pictures. I´ll sent more another day.
I love you all. You in my prayers and I know that I am in yours. Well, until next week, Bye bye (:

Here is somthing that I wrote to my mission president
We are going to have changes this week. Somethings are going to be different here in the mission because our president is going to leave. I am excited to see what is going to happen. This last Sunday was very good. we had 5 investigators in the Sacrament meeting. That´s not all. We have other people who will be going this next Sunday. Double the number. I was really happy too, because we helped other families attend church. One in particular, a returned missionary who is Uraguayo from Uraguay. We were really pleased to see him in the reunion. We are seeing miracles here in my area. And to tell the truth, we were not having success during the first few weeks. But we had faith and hope that if we did our best, then God would help us find those who those who were/are prepared.
----Random note: I found out that the reason for people to go inactive in the church is sin. It explains all.
I don´t know how but the mission gets better everyday. I don´t get how missionaries can be homesick, I love every minute of it here, even when it is hard. And I tell ya, it is the hardest thing I have ever done... Ever. (-:
Today I was setting goals and I would like to say that I now have more of a vision of who I want to be. I keep saying that, "I am not the same" I should just say that I am constantly changing and lets leave it at that.
Yesterday I gave a talk in Sacrament meeting. I prepared my talk and the things that I wrote didn´t work out so I started to just bare my testimony. I kind of dropped the cane but with love. I felt the spirit as it guided me to said a lot of things. (one thing I have learned is to say what the spirit tells me to say)
Speaking of being guided by trhe spirit, Elder Enriquez and I gave a blessing to old lady who fell. don´t worry, she´ll be okay. Another experience that I will not forget.
I am focusing more on making miracles or rather make so that God can bring to pass miracles. I am sacrificing more and hope to continually do so. I am writing these miracle everyday too, in my Journal.
p.s. I am getting better with Spanish continually. I love talking in a different language. véase arriba look up ^
p.p.s.Thanks for the photos Jolene, My favorite was when wilson was sitting on the cats head.
p.p.p.s.I think that I´ll get my package in two weeks, but I am not pre-occupied with that.
p.p.p.p.s. So that you all know is that I am very happy in the work and that I am continually becoming better in the work. And that I have all that I need and I helping do my part. I have a lot of imprefections but that will never stop me.
I LOVE ALL OF YOU. BYE

First things first... I thought it was kind of funny to hear that Jackie has a new cat. She always had a cat. I don´t know how many she has had now. oh well.
Well yesterday was a day of miracles. We were in the sacrament meeting and after the sacrament, the people who were waiting outside to enter inside to hear the testimonies. A father of a member entered with intentions to "discuss" the problems that the church needed to do to support her daughter. He was talking very loudly to the the Bishopric and all the members were stunned with what was happening. Finally the bishop came down, gave him a hug and then calmly lead him to the front (by the pulpit- the place where the bishopric sits) and he sat next to the bishop the rest of the meeting. He was touched at the love the members had for him. After the meeting, other members talked with him and gave him hugs. I know that God provided a way for this man to feel the love that he has for all his children. I am grateful for this experience because the members were shaken a little on subject of the importance of helping other members. After the meeting other members talked with us and gave us referrals.
We also taught a man in the Chapel. A man who has been prepared by the hands of God. The man is 67 years old and his wife is 38 and they have three children one is 18 years old, the other is 15 years old and the youngest 3 years old. We are here to help him with the things he needs to do to gain his own testimony.
I gained even more of a testimony of the Atonement. I know even more that the Atonement heals. And that the only ways that God can bless us is through the Atonement and through our obedience to the doctrine of Christ e.g. Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Gift of the Holy Ghost, and to enduring to the end.

Well, I am seeing miracles here and I hope that all of you are making miracles back at home.
p.s. I am proud of you Mom for wanting to help others come unto Christ

Well I´m getting better but I still have a cough but it kind of stinks because I don´t have any medicine right now. We are going to buy some in a couple minutes. This week wasn´t too fun, but what can you do? I let´s just say I could of slept better.
Well, this week went by real fast. It´s not as hot as before but now there is a lot of humidity. Which is just as bad or worse. But that don´t matter to me. I can stand it. I don´t want to complain and don´t really have room to do so.
This coming Sunday, I have Stake Conference here in Fernando de la Mora, Asunción, Paraguay. I will see the people from my old area. It will be very interesting to see them again.
This week was very trying. My faith was tested. But I came through with even more conviction in the Work. I love the quote, "why do we fall...? So that we can learn to pick ourselves up". You would not believe how much God has changed me. I cannot see the old me anymore. I am so happy even though I am a little sick still, that doesn´t get me down. I am amazed every single day at how awesome it is to be here. The language is becoming easier, the way to teach is becoming better. Ever single thing after the mission, will be better because I served my Lord and King.
When I heard that Mom was talking to the people in her work, I actually was kind of jealous. I was thinking, I wasn´t to talk to them about the gospel. I don´t know if it is alright to be jealous like that but I was. I know see why Spencer always said that he wanted to go back and that he loved the mission.
The mission means everything to me and is becoming everything to me. All of who I will be depends on how I help others the Atonement of Christ.
Love all you

Wow, a year ago you recieved a call from the MTC for Mother´s Day. Mothers day will be exactly 1 year and one month in the mission.
I will be calling with skpe again, with the screen name(checorgrizzle). I´ll call you at 3:00pm this Saturday (7 pm here). But if por some reason, if you don`t recieve a call, I will call at 4. And if not. I will then call Monday, the same hours. I will make sure that you will recieve the call at 3 pm, this Saturday. You should probably write down things that you would like to ask me (to use time more effectively.)
Did you recieve my letter? I sent a letter with pictures and other letters for other people. It should be there soon for Mother´s Day. (:
Well, I love the mission even more. It is becoming the best 2 years of my life and for my life. I am so happy that I get to be here. Every male needs to serve a mission to become a man. There is no other way that someone can learn so much in so little time. Everyday I change and grow/develop in every aspect. I´m learning that the things I thought I knew, are different from what they really are. I learned that we are to change constantly and become better than we have been in the past. That is why Christ bled and died for us. So that we can change. We need to change. It is impossible not to change. To make mistakes and then learn from them or better yet see the mistakes of others and learn from them. And then help those who are feel that they cannot change. I learned that we do not stay the same. We are constantly changing. And the changes that take place depend on us. "If we don´t take control of our lives, the world will shape by using what is ¨popular¨, ¨fun¨ or ¨the things that everyone is doing¨. If we take control, we will shape ourselves. We will be successful according to our effort. But if we let God take control, He will mold us into more than we can imagine. A beautiful sculpture made by the great loving hands of our Creator. We will find the highest success there is possible, we will reach our potencial that God has for us. We will become great in the sight of God, to recieve that which is the greatest of all, the life eternal" -C.N.G.
We had a lesson yesterday. It may have been one of the most influencial lessons I ever had here. I will talk to all about it this Saturday.
Love all of you (:

Well first of all thanks for the emails. It was good to hear about our family. I had quite a awesome week. I am changing who I am and becoming a different person (I am constantly changing). And the work is becoming a lot more for me.
Wednesday my companio0n and I passed by the house of an golden investigator. He is 14 years old and lives alone. (his mom is in a "care center"-she had a tumor in her head. -part of her head is missing- and his dad is off with a woman in a different city. But his is awesome. He want to be a missionary. But anyways he said to pass by at 4 o´clock but we were delayed, with rain and another appointment. We thought we would pass by regardless. We saw that his lights were on and thought that he didn`t go to school. (when it rains alot here, people don`t work or go to school sometimes). We clapped the house but he didn`t answer. while waiting to see if he was going to answer the door. His neighbor said he wasn`t there. He then started saying, "why are always bothering people?" and other stuff like that. That is when I said to myself, if your going to be insulting me you, be a man and talk to my face. I starting walking toward his and he started to become nervious. (he was in his yard and ran to close the tiny gate). He said all sorts of stuff like "are you two stupid?" and "you idiot" and other garbage like that. All I was repyling was "no" to all those insults, because, well, they weren´t true. I was acting as if his insults didn`t phase me, because the didn´t. He was becoming really angry with us the more he spoke. I then said, "Does your religion teach you these bad things". He then said that he was atheist. we talked more and then he angrily said that he was going to sick his dog on us. I saw that the dog wouldn`t bite us. We just watched as he opened the gate and was saying "Bite him, Bite Him!". He didn`t train his dog good enough because the dog was went out the gate and started sniffing all around to pee. And with even more anger he yell for his dog to return. And said not to passby his house. I, calmly said that we wouldn`t passby his house but with our investigator we would. We left him to be angry. But it was his choice to be angry at God and be unhappy in life.
Antoher thing that happened was a drunk guy was talking to us in Guaraní mixed with Spanish. He said that he had a hernia and wanted to show us. He started to undo his belt and my companion and I started to freak out. I calmly talked to the man and said that a doctor need to help him. he then said that, "you can`t save me?" and then he left, talking to himself.
Well here are some experiences here in Villa Anita.
Last week I sent a envelope with 5 letters. one is for Our family, one is for my first companion in the mission, one is for Laine Bueno, one is for President Baer, and one for Faith (my friend from Beehive clothing). I wrote that you can read them. Could you please sent them for me. I also sent pictures too.
Thanks Oh... I recieved the package last week. Thank you it was great.

Wow, time flies when your having fun. I remember when we said goodbye.
I want to share an experience that happened this week and which I wrote in my journal. word for word
" April 10, 2012
I said it! I said that we would see miracles! What I am about to write is amazing. 3 days ago we contacted a house because it was close to a house of a man that we contacted on the street. We clapped the house and a girl, about 19 years old answered the door with little clothes. It was really awkward and we said that we mistaken and left the house and after we said to each other, " we not going to pass by here again". We then saw a neighbor who was out side. The man said that the house we contacted lived a man who was bedridden. We then said to the man that we would passby to visit the man who was sick the next day. And we did. we talked to the wife and saw a skeleton of a man in the bed. We talked of the Book of Mormon with the Plan of Salvation. We then said to the wife that we would passby again to see how they were. (she also has problems, cancer to be exact.) And today we were in the mission office until 4:25 pm and got to our apartment at 5:15 pm and after we ate lunch (we didn`t have time before). We left the apartment and were on the street at 5:45 pm. We first went to the Chapel to see who was in seminary 6:00 pm and to see if we could help the Bishop clean the chapel until an appointment at 6:30 near th church. We left the church at 6:10 p.m. to go to an appointment. We went to the house and the father wasn`t there. We then thought to contact others and we saw a lot of people in the house of the family of the man that was bed ridden. My thoughts when to" he died". As we found out , he did. I asked a man that was sitting outside the gate. "Did Jorge die?". He responed with a "Go inside". We were awstruck. All the people the were inside let in two lds missionaries. We did not expect to be let in. We then greeted the people within. And that `s when we saw the coffin. It was a viewing/ mourning with a the catholic tradition. We then began to talk. In a group of 15 people inside this tiny house. We began to talk of the Plan of Salvation. We became empowered the Holy Ghost. I felt the Spirit of truth testify of all that was said. We taught with power and authority from on high. I know that the angels of God were surrounding us tonight. The people in the little house saw true servants of God tonight. I felt the love that God has for them
We left with the spirit testifing of the Truths that we shared. We were filled with the Holy Spirit and we than prayed and tahnked our Heavenly Father for the testimony of truth. I will always remember this experience. I now hunger for more like this one."
I Love you all.

Well, it`s my birthday this Thursday. It`s really werid to think that I`ll be 22. I don`t feel like it, let alone, look like it. Just the other day I was called, "niño" -(boy) and "muchacho" -(kid) by two different people.
Well,my companion and I are going to have a baptism this General Conference in the Stake Center of Villa Alisa. His name is Gabriel and he will be the first to be a member in his family. We are going to work hard with him so that he will be ready.
Yesterday we were talking with a woman named Sonya who wants to be baptized but her husband is a drunk and won`t let her. He did let his kids get baptized though. ( we are going to have a family night with them this thursday, with their son who is not a member. he likes the church but has son problems to sort out.) Almost all of them are members. The parents and two of the children are not. It is sad to see someone to be a slave to something. Alcohol is a very effective tool down here. Satan doesn`t have to work hard with them because they are slaves to strong drink.
If there was only one thing that I have learned from all my time here. It would be how the Church is true. I`ve seen the fruits of all the others churches. One thing that is obvious in a lot of churches is they are not Christlike. How can a church proclam to be a church of Christ if the members are not christian, e.g. Christlike? We must develop the attributes that Christ has if we are to be heirs of the Kingdom of Heaven. Although there are alot of people doing good with their churches. It is not suficient. Because Christ , though a Prophet, restored His Church again in the Earth. The has always been one path to that which is there Salvation and all other paths to which are a sure damnation. Give heed to the words of the prophets. They are the ones that we need to learn from both in olden times and in these last days.
I know that the Church is the restored Church. And contains the knowledge for our Salvation. All we need to do is seek for it.

I would like to bare you my testimonio of the Book of Mormon and the teachins therein
Estoy lo leyendo cada día en voz alto con el espíritu de la oracion
I am reading it out loud everyday, with the spirit of prayer
Yo no sabia la importancia del Libro antes que yo vine aquí
I did not know the importance of the Book before I came here
y ahora... sé mucho del libro. Antes de que yo vine aquí, no entendí cómo lo pudiera cambiar mí vida
and now... I know a lot of the Book. Before I came here, I did not understand how it could change my life.
Gracias por vuestro ejemplo. sé que porque nací de buenos padres, pudeira ser como Nefi... fuerte en mi convicción de Jesucristo, nuestro Salvador, Redentor, Mediador y Rey

Dad bought un iPad? Bangerter Highway and 78th are changing? Layla and Eli are growing up? I`m speaking in Spanish? I look like I`m 18 or 17? My nickname is Callou? (the bald kid-animated tv show for kids) 27 years, what?
I would love to see photos of Bangerter Highway and other photos. I haven`t though of that kind of stuff since I was at home.
Well this past week we baptized a single Mom, of two kids. The advesary was and is working hard against her. We had her baptism date for the 19 of Feb. but her daughter,1, was really sick and she had to go to the hospital. But we did baptize her the 25 of Feb. But she didn`t go to church yesterday to be confirmed. She moved and we don`t know where she is right now. But we are going to talk with her family to find out.
yesterday we walking for our last appointment and scared a drunk man with a bright red nose. He came at his left (there was a shortcut by an intersection of two streets. We happen to be on his back left.) He said that we scared him. And that he " ...saw were two big guys coming at me." He said, "where are you from" (what are you here for). My companion said that were are missionaries for the LDS Church. That`s when the man said, " I am too. I`m mormon but I don`t go because I like to drink." He said that he was a member for 40 years, or rather that he was baptized 40 years ago. Then my companion asked, What`s your name? It took this man 15 seconds to think of a name. I don`t get these people. I love them but I don`t understand them.
My Spanish is better then ever. I still have a lot to learn but I`ll get there. My companion said for me to change my accent to be like an Argentinian. I`m not going to, I don`t think.
The other day I said a prayer in english. I was thinking in Spanish and then translating in English. That was really weird for me.

I was studying this morning in Moses 6. And something interesting hit me in the verses 15 and 16 (I think it was those verses). Adam was commanded to write a history and genelogy of his family (other stuff too). The exact commandment that Nephi, Matthew, Juan, Moses, Enos, Mormon, Moroni, etc. had to do. To write a history of their people for the benefit of future generations. And to "turn the hearts of the children to their fathers and the hearts of the fathers to the children." So that they all mankind may be blessed. (so that all may partake of the Restored Gospel). - From the beginning we`ve had the same commandments. And through Joseph Smith, these thing have been restored to there fulness. And there has always been adversity in rightousness. The wicked had always fought against the righteous. Even from the beginning, in the time of Adam until now.
Every single person that is great in the sight of God, has been part of the "Brotherhood of Suffering". They have been killed, laughted at, spit upon, mocked, rediculed, shunned, smitten, ignored by men. But they will be exalted, praised, beloved, Great and chosen daughters and sons of God. In a state of never ending happiness.
As for the Mission... The days past by fast. Always hoping that moments will last. Seems like it passes in a flash.
Right now we are teachong a family from Brazil. Familia Sousa. We have the baptismal date for the 11th of Feb. We also had 7 others with dates to be baptized next month.
Love You All!
p.s. I need rechargable batteries (AA) and a charger (for my camera). The batteries are garbage here. The die within 2-7 days. You can sent me these or money to buy them here. (80 guaranies or more) -20 dollars. But if you are going to sent a package, send some beef jerky. PACKAGE FOR 1 YEAR MARK?

Wow, I`m so happy. I just recieved my package. I still have to wait until we`re done shopping and cut our hair (we have interviews wednesday). I saw that you put dental stuff in with my package. Thats a good thing too. The people here don`t have much teeth.
Right now I am trying to speak really fast in Spanish. I can speak pretty dang fast now already but I want to speak even faster. It is really fun to talk fast. I talked really slow in english but now I talk fast in English too. All of you will be freaked out.
More about my Area is my district is 3 areas. Pai Ñu, Tres Bocas and Villa Anita. There are 4 missionaries in Pai Ñu and 2 in Tres Bocas. Recently our wards were going to go to E F Y ( the youth program of the Church). But something happened, miscomunication or someone lost the paperwork, for these three wards to go to this convention. They were not able to go. The youth were really sad by this (because there are not that many activities like it, here in Paraguay). But the Lord will send comfort to them if they do what is right and not dwell that "the church failed us" - There was one woman in Pai Ñu that thought it was because of her unrightousness that the youth couldn`t go. She was yelling in the in the sky, "Perdòname Señor..." (forgive me Lord). She had a guilty concience as you can tell.
My Area is pretty big. I am still learning were all the investigators and members live. I`m learning pretty fast. Most of the streets here are "empedrado" or cobble stone but sharper. And not all the streets here are named nor streets, really. They`re pathways of sand or dirt. The houses here are better built than my first area and worse than my second area. Half my area is country and the other half is neigborhoods. (with houses made out of bricks, cement and rods of metal. with a metal sheets for the roof. and that`s it)
With regards to the mission. I am learning things that I want to do and things I never want to do. One thing that I was thinking was my future career. With regards to what my patriachal blessing say. And the thought came to me of music. I don`t know why. It say`s in my blessing that I would develop skills with my hands. take into account that evey single kind of work requires the use of hands. But also I thought of writing. I`ve been told that I am able to write pretty good. Though that may be true, there is writing in music. Notes and words. But I don`t know. I thought that I would share that with you.
Time up, I need to go but before I do, know that I love all of you.

Subject in English (Luke, I am your father!! Noooo! Impossible!)
Sorry this letter is short... I am going to write a hand written letter today. I`m not sure if I can send it this week though.
Wow, change happens fast. I`m now in an area called Villa Anita with my new companion Elder Knudsen, from Argentina. He is the District lìder here in Fernando de la Mora (sur "south"). -I am now offically in one of the most dangerous areas in all of Paraguay. Actually the third most dangerous part. The most dangerous is called Tres Bocas and it is right next to my area. Actually someone was just killed 3 blocks away from our apartment. He got shot in the stomach.
But on a happier note I get my package next week. I would have gotten my package this week, but they sent it to my old area in Ettiene. And I will become fluent real soon. I will make sure of that. I will talk all the time with my latin companion. He played professional basketball for Argentina for 2 years before his mission.
I had a recent convert fix my shoes (new soles) in Ettiene. I wasn`t able to grab them before I left there. So... they are still in Ettiene and I`m in Villa Anita. I hope that I can get my shoes soon.
Well. I love this new area. I am working hard here. There is potential here. I believe that this area will be seeing miracles real soon.
I love all of you. (I can`t believe that it`s been 9 months!)

Wow. That is awsome!!! Dad will be getting a job. And that the surgery was perfectly timed! You would`ve needed to pay 20,000! I love seeing miracles like that. We can look back at the circumstances that lead us to where we are now and then we have an even greater gratitude and apprieciation for what God has given. We know that He has given us more than we can ever repay Him with. But that doesn`t stop us from trying to give all we can to repay Him.
This past week was quite weird. Me and my compaion got sick. One day I was sick and the next, my companion (he was throwing up). I had a weird infection/sore on my hand, which can be kind of scary(being in a foreign country). But it turned out to be a heat blister or something like that. But that`s alright. We are now both well and we are going to work hard this week to make up for this past week. We are especially going to focus on a recent convert family and get them to go back to church. They are a great family and need to be grande. We`ll help them to be stronger in the gospel... oh and we are going to be teaching a friend of theirs. se llama Guirmo Mena. I don`t know what he is like but he agreed to let us teach him. I pray that he recieves the message with open heart.
Right now our mission has the challenge to study the Book of Mormon and to read it before July. I found a way to effectively study the Book of Mormon, (for the mission). I am going to write in my journal, everyday, with the intention of writing a background of the chapter, then the priciples of each chap/verse and after I`ll write questions that can be answered in the chapter/verse. (because we can find every answer to every question in the B of M). After that... I am going to copy every question and put in another journal of pure questions with references. While doing this I will also be able to remember the Book of Mormon and it will become a more powerful tool in my hands. More so than right now. Well, I am really excited to start this study. I will be a better in every aspect but doing this. I have the desires to be a master teacher and this is the path to become it. It will also help me with Spanish too.
I found out today that my package is finally here. I have to wait another week though ): Next time, it will have to be sent earlier (in october).
Love All of you. LES QUIERO

Wow, how crazy it`s no longer 2011!
Well I have been working hard here. My district and I are doing a "purification" process. We want to be rid of all ungodliness and all that would stop the spirit in being the strongest around us. I wrote a list of things that would impede the spirit. It seems that as soon as I wrote those things, it was twice as hard to get rid of them. That figures, right? Satan works harder when we try to be better. He wouldn`t have to work hard on someone who easily sins or goes with whatever. But I can tell that this is going to be great.
I haven`t been thinking about home too much, it`s a distraction to me. I think about all of you from time to time, but the things of home I don`t think about. I am very focused on the work here. I am getting better at being a missionary everyday. And my English is getting worse, but that`s alright. And my Spanish is getting better too.
Well, these past two holidays we ate at a members house and both times they gave my the sheaves. That was not fun. I was not feeling good during church. But I went out working. I don`t let anything stop me in this work.
Yesterday was really sad for me. We went to visit a less-active members last night. We heard music playing loudly and saw motorcycles in front of their house. When we got there we saw a lot of people. We saw that they were smoking and drinking. And the father of the family was drinking too. Talk about getting your heart ripped out. I was devestated. I saw a "unclean herd" in front of my eyes. I felt angry toward the wickness that I saw. I questioned myself, "How could this happen? It was one week earlier, they were showing their baptismal photos and their wedding pictures in the chapel."
The World is filled with evil. I can see that more and more. My eyes have been opened. No wonder in the Book of Mormon, It says,"How long will I suffer these things". How long will he suffer the wickedness of the world to stand? But, I know that the day will come that Our Lord and Savior will return and we will live in peace. We will be in a state of undying progression.
Love all you. Chao!
